Consistent with his fight to support these exciting initiatives, Councillor Li Preti has led the way in bringing about major improvements which serve to enhance the welcome which one receives at Jane and Finch, the gateway to our many interesting neighbourhoods. Streetscaping has been on the minds of city planners and community leaders for a number of years, and what will unfold in the months ahead are a culmination of efforts on the part of those who share the view that 'the pride one feels in walking down a well-lit sidewalk among trees and flowers and resting places contributes enormously to a sense of well being'. This councillor believes that his community is most worthy and deserving of these exciting and major improvements.
